The Lovers of Ashen Cities

The world ended not in a roar, but a whisper — the soft, terrible susurrus of fire. Decades later, the sky remains a canvas of ash, painting sunsets in the bruised hues of rust and decay.  From the ruins, two societies rise: the Citadel, a fortress of salvaged technology and ironclad order, and the Tribes, nomadic clans who hold the key to survival — a bio-regenerative serum drawn from the mutated heart of the ashen wasteland.
Liora, a Citadel scout haunted by survivor’s guilt, carries a broken amulet, a relic of a life she believed lost to the flames. Tasked with infiltrating the Tribes and stealing their secrets, her mission becomes a pilgrimage back to a past she can’t outrun. For the Tribes are led by Ethan, her childhood friend, a ghost she thought buried with the world before. He too wears half of the broken amulet, a silent testament to their shared history.
