In today's fast-paced world, it's tough to find the time to read. But with Joosr guides, you can get the key insights from bestselling non-fiction titles in less than 20 minutes. Think about the way you lead, and about the relationships you foster with other people. Are these exceptional? Do you promote excellence in all that you do? Or do you just think that this is the case? You can experience authentic relationships with others, leading them-and yourself-to success, by taking responsibility and thinking outside of the box.

Leadership and Self-Deception by The Arbinger Institute encourages readers to take responsibility for their lives, their relationships, and the situations in which they find themselves. How we view our circumstances has a huge impact on how we treat those around us. If we want better work and personal lives, we have to start improving our thinking, to get outside of our self-constructed box.

You will learn:

· How we begin to get trapped thinking inside of the box

· Why you may be viewing other people as objects instead of human beings

· How to get the best from others and foster an environment that encourages collaboration and creativity.

Thinking outside of the box is all about changing how we view ourselves and others.

You start by recognizing that you are thinking and acting from within a box. Remember—if we don’t know or accept that we have a problem, there is no way to fix it. Once you realize that you’re in the box, you then have to want to get out. Just having the desire to get out of the box and improve your relationships is akin to actually opening the box and taking the first huge step out of it.

If you want the best from your employees, look for the best in them.
