Makenzie Campbell

Makenzie Campbell is an American author of three poetry compilations. Her first two books, 2 a.m. Thoughts (2017) and Nineteen (2020), have sold over 125,000 copies.

Makenzie Campbell is a 2018 graduate of Sumner High School and holds a degree in psychology from Washington State University.

She self-published a book of free verse, and her introspective creations caught the professional eye of publishers who have helped polish 2 a.m. Thoughts.

“I got into writing in general when I was seven, but I think the poetry part came when I didn’t really have another way to express myself because I’m more of an introvert,” Makenzie said.

At 21, Makenzie released her third poetry book, Rooms of the Mind (2021).

Makenzie Campbell lives in the Seattle agglomeration.

money

job

school

parents
