Through these books, I've learned a lot of life lessons that I continue to reiterate in my tarot reading sessions. If you're looking for a list of books that will help you to overcome the hardship, the hurdles, and the struggles, you've come to the right place. :)

There are two reasons of why I really want to get my hands on this book.

    1. I'm a fan of Shonda Rhimes' work – starting from "Scandal", "How to Get Away with Murder", and "The Catch".
    2. As someone who constantly says "no" to a lot of things, I find it very intriguing to see what will happen if someone, perhaps as powerful as Shonda Rhimes, gets to say "Yes" for a year. If I do it too, will it make me feel more confident and happy, just like her decision which affected her?

I hope I'll get more inspiration from her to live a carefree life through this book, without the fear of dwelling in choices that I would regret for the rest of my life. ☺️

What is Denmark's secret to being the #1 happiest country in the world? You're right. It's "Hygge"!

"Hygge" ( pronounced "hoo-ga") isn't just merely a feeling of comfort, but it's a way of living by creating a safe and cozy situation for you. You can do hygge by yourself, or surrounded by your loved ones.

Read this book to find out how Hygge works to increase your quality of life. You might be able to create your own hyggeligt moment anytime soon!

The Little Prince may be a children's book, but this literature for the tiny humans is packed with deep philosophical thinking and charming allegories about our existence.

I haven't gotten my hands on this since I've been pretty busy these couple of weeks, but I'm really interested in reading about Rubin's take on happiness. The summary of this book reminds me about one of those days when I was still struggling with finding balance while having bipolar disorder, along with a continuous search for happiness in my morning routine. Will def put this book on my must-read list!

I first picked up this book because I'm really bad in tidying, hence I can use a little bit of magic from MariKon. But reading this book totally changes my perception about joy, in which beyond the simple concept of cleaning and tidying it offers. Try to read this book in the morning, and if you can, absorb its positive vibe. It'll help you to start your day with a brighter outlook.

A must-read for everyone who is starting their spiritual journey. A lot of the wisdoms and theories here are not inherently invented by Eckhart Tolle, but it's enlightening regardless.

I laughed, and I cried throughout this book. It fills my sense of wonder about what it feels like to wait for death to fetch you and drive you to your final resting place. Thank you, Paul Kalanithi for poignantly articulating your experience despite your struggle.
