I'll Be Home for Christmas

Maybe being in California for a few months got me too comfortable talking about my queerness, but I’m not going to go back now. I went through so much to feel comfortable with myself—other people’s discomfort with who I am is no longer my problem.

It’s theirs.

That’s a mantra I always try to keep in my head, one that Dr. Taylor told me during one of our online appointments.
