Come Away My Beloved…and Pray

You shall go as Philip went—at the direction of the Spirit—into the places that are out of the way, and bring light on My Word to those who are in need.

Do not walk according to your natural reasoning, but obey the promptings of the Spirit,

Across your path will fall the shadow of My hand, and wherever I direct you, there will you see My power at work, and your ministry will glorify Me.

It is written: “Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine” (1 Timothy 4:13).

Go from your house with an open ear.

In the soughing of the pines, it is My voice speaking. I call you in the wind. In the breaking of the waves, it is My voice you hear. In the tumbling waters of the brook, it is I, calling, ever calling.

And the lake would say to you, Be still. Be still before Me in communion, and be still at times even in the company of others, so you may enjoy the lesson of the lake in mutual fellowship.

It is love being and love doing. Yes, it is love loving.

It is the flowing movement of the musical score that transforms mere notes to true song.
