I Love Swimming is a tomboy story about a young girl who loves swimming and thinks of herself as one of the boys. She has always just worn board shorts with no top, like all of her friends. The story is told by the child as she enjoys various different swimming adventures.
Midway through the book, it is revealed that she is a girl, and her school insists that she must wear girls’ togs.
