My heart hurts. What a beautifully written, tragic story. I will never forget this book, its characters, nor the pain it has brought me. Absolutely gorgeous.
The best book ive ever read
So beautiful! Haven't read something so moving in awhile.
"I am made of memories."
I’m not sure If i’d ever read equally magnificent book. It literally a masterpiece and I loved it with my entire heart. Couldn’t put it away for two days straight.
its 1:06 am and I started reading this book yesterday. I am crying and have been for the past ten minutes. this is not ONE of the best novels I've read. it IS the best novel I've ever read. fucking hell.
I was excruciatingly WRECKED, but my heart was so full.
This is my favorite book ever.
This book’s ending slaps you with emotions, and then make you feel happy again, and the book is amazing in my opinion.
As a lover of Greek mythology I give this book the finest stamp of approval
I loved this book. I read the whole thing in one day because i couldn’t put it down. Definitely worth it.

Uau!!!???? What an amazing novel!)
I really loved this book. I'm still in awe, actually. I hate myself for not being able to put my emotions into words properly. Just that this has impacted me in such a huge way that I could not have expected this. This was beautiful, beyond words.
I read a summary of the Trojan War when I was a kid, so I don't remember everything exactly, but the part where "Achilles" was killed by Hector. I didn't even know it was Patroclus in Achilles' armor until I read this book and did a little research myself. I hate major character deaths, and I knew this one had it, but Achilles and Patroclus' story was just so beautiful that I had to see it through the end. I expected the grief, but I was not prepared still. My heart broke even further when I thought all was lost and Patroclus' soul would be left wandering the earth; but I was glad that Thetis came around and granted the couple their final wish: to be together. Despite their deaths, this was a happy ending, nonetheless, and I cried happy tears knowing that they are together in the end. (I'm still crying every now and then as I type this.)
I hope to read more stories from this author and more stories similar to this (hopefully without the character deaths this time). A big thank you to the person who recommended me this amazing book. I am enormously grateful to the author for writing this. Thank you very much.
One of the most remarkable works of literature.
The most beautiful prose I've ever read, this story truly encompasses Greek culture at the time, while spinning a beautiful story. I loved this!
i am bawling my eyes out. i had finished the book an hour ago, and had started crying already an hour before that. i cannot quite describe my emotions, it was just so beautiful and so sad. my heart hurts so much, this is the best book i’ve read and will ever read, and despite the countless hours crying over it, i am thankful that i got to experience such a masterpiece.
Best reinterpretation of Homer's work
I'm sobbing thanks
