Life Of Constantine By Eusebius Commented

Eusebius describes the life of Constantine in 4 volumes, this being the first in the series. We are introduced by these pages to time travel by the words of Eusebius who begins his narrative by speaking of Constantine s father, his kind, kind and pious personality, while a brave and warlike man is impacted by stories of persecution and massacres. of Christians by Roman tyrants. Eusebius shows that in fact Constantine was a man of God who had communion with his Father and knew how to help the church to resolve its internal conflicts, while ruling the vast Roman empire as a great statesman. The first volume ends by describing the sufferings of Christians in the eastern part of the empire over the rule of Constantine s brother-in-law, Licidius.
