Two astronauts are given simple rules: Travel to 1524. Don't land on Earth in the past. Hover. Travel back to 2024. As basic as they seem, they have no doubt that that's all to the mission. Well, it is. But what adventures would be in this story if Angus Fonteyn, our chauvinistic narrator didn't persuade his bright-eyed younger copilot, Janine Lyton, into travelling with him to the distant future under the guise of fervent eco-advocacy. Together and apart, this duo go through time loops and overlapping distorted realities as either or neither will learn one thing: Earth is a complicated place, and so are the different kinds of people in it.
