The society tends to suppress those who somehow differ from generally accepted standards, whether they differ in appearance, interests or beliefs. At the same time, such “anomalies” cause certain curiosity in public. All in all, everyone decides for himself of where the real “freaks” are — in the circus arena or in the audience.
