Adélia Luzia Prado Freitas, is a Brazilian writer and poet. Started writing at the age of 40 which is relatively late in life for a poet. Although much of her outlook is religious, deeply Catholic, her works are often about the body.Adélia Prado's poems were translated into English by Ellen Watson and published in a book entitled, The Alphabet in the Park.
