Rosemarie Barnes is the Canadian author of four international best-selling books on public speaking and presentation skills. She is an International Keynote Speaker, an Executive Presentation Specialist, and the founder of Confident Stages and the Executive Presentation Academy.
Rosemarie Barnes holds degrees in Education, Music, and Drama from several Canadian Universities (BA in Drama from the University of Alberta; University of Calgary Diploma of Music: Kodaly specialization from the University of Alberta, etc.) and is certified as a professional speaking coach.
As an Executive Presentation Trainer, Rosemarie works with content, presentation, and delivery skills. She uses her vocal production expertise to empower all speakers to connect to their audiences with maximum impact and influence.
Her debut book, Confident Public Speaking: Being Heard Above the Noise, came out in 2016 and became a bestseller. Her most recent manual, Essential Presentation Skills (2020), covers every aspect of public speaking and presentations. It is an easy-to-follow step-by-step guide to help build confidence in presentations of any size audience.
She has also contributed to many anthology publications.
Rosemarie Barnes lives in Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada.
