Just Your Average Ultra Runner celebrates the spirit of endurance through the voices of everyday athletes who go the distance — literally. In this collection of candid interviews, author Jason Ward sits down with ordinary runners who have accomplished extraordinary things on the trails and roads of ultra-distance running.

From first-time finishers to seasoned 100-mile veterans, each chapter captures the mindset, struggles, and triumphs that define the ultra community. Their stories are proof that you don’t need to be elite to push your limits — just determined enough to take the next step.

Whether you’re a runner, a dreamer, or simply curious about what drives people to go beyond, this audiobook offers insight, humor, and inspiration for anyone chasing their own version of extraordinary.
