Aaron Edwards

Aaron Edwards is a Senior Lecturer in Defence and International Affairs at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, specialising in terrorism and counter-insurgency.He is the author or editor of several books, including 'A History of the Northern Ireland Labour Party: Democratic Socialism and Sectarianism' (2009; 2011) and 'Defending the Realm? The Politics of Britain’s Small Wars since 1945' (2012), and has lectured all over the world on national and international security.A Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, he holds a PhD from the Queen’s University of Belfast.His latest book, 'Mad Mitch's Tribal Law: Aden and the End of Empire' is due to be published by Mainstream/Random House on 16 January 2014.
