Dr Emily Ackerman lives in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has been a Christian for thirty-five years and has worked as a doctor, carer and volunteer counsellor. Disabled by chronic illness, she has learned creative and efficient ways of caring. She is married to Gordon and they have a grown-up son and daughter.
