D.K. Fields

D.K. Fields is the pseudonym for the writing partnership of novelists David Towsey and Katherine Stansfield. Together they wrote the political fantasy trilogy The Tales of Fenest (Widow's Welcome (2019), The Stitcher and the Mute (2020), and Farewell to the Liar (2021)), featuring Detective Cora Gorderheim.

David Towsey is a graduate of the Bath Spa MA in Creative Writing and is continuing his studies as a Ph.D. student at Aberystwyth University.

His zombie-western, The Walkin’ Trilogy (2013–2015), received critical acclaim.

Katherine Stansfield is a multi-genre novelist and poet. She grew up on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. Her novels The Visitor and The Magpie Tree have won the Holyer an Gof Fiction Award.

Katherine is a member of Crime Cymru: the collective of crime writers with a connection to Wales. She also authored the historical crime fiction series Cornish Mysteries.

The couple are originally from the southwest of England and now live in Cardiff.
