Amy Frykholm was raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She writes about religion and culture, women's history and communal food. Her most recent project, chronicled in her blog, is searching out the "Lost Women of Christendom." She is the author of three books of non-fiction and is Associate Editor of The Christian Century.
