Former British politician.Bloom was elected MEP for the UK Independence Party in 2004 & 2009. In 2013 he was ousted from the party for beating a reporting and calling women in the audience of a party conference "sluts". For the rest of 2013 he seated as an independent MEP and did not run for re-election in 2014. During his career Bloom attracted many controversies for denying climate change, celebrating the sinking of the Rainbow Warrior and heckling political opponents.
