A sleepy town with a disturbing secret. An unstable man seduced by evil whisperings. And a stubborn detective whose life is more intertwined with the killer she hunts than she could ever imagine.

Just when the residents of Crest Hill are getting past a shocking unsolved murder in the nearby groves, their greatest unspoken fear materializes: a string of serial killings amongst their own citizens. There is now no mistaking the fact that one member of their small population is not what they seem to be.

Earl Hughes is a regular guy outwardly. What lurks beneath, however, is a mind warped by a marred childhood which seeks to purge his world of a perceived evil. His deep recesses of obsession, as deranged as they may be, only act to further his cunning.

Detective Anita Heath finds herself perplexed at the crime scenes when the bodies begin turning up. Something about these murders just doesn’t profile right. As her suspicions are soon bent in unusual directions, she discovers she has attracted the attention of the culprit—and inadvertently enters into a sinister game of cat and mouse.

The Crest Hill Mu7ders is a suspenseful new page-turner with haunting twists that may forever alter the way you view your fellow citizens’ pasts—and possibly even your own.
