William Crossman

William Crossman is a philosopher, futurist, and professor who has spoken about talking computers and other future-related issues at conferences and meetings around the world. He has appeared frequently on TV, radio, and online, and served as a consultant for governmental and non-governmental agencies, think tanks, educational institutions, research and development centers, and corporations. He was named (New York Daily News, Dec. 2, 1999) as a key visionary for the 21st Century along with physicist Stephen Hawking and scientist Ray Kurzweil. Crossman is founder/director of the CompSpeak 2050 Institute for the Study of Talking Computers and Oral Cultures.
