Matthew Bulgo

Matthew Bulgo trained at LAMDA and works as an actor and playwright. Last Christmas was his debut play and it was originally co-produced by Dirty Protest and Clwyd Theatr Cymru. It was nominated in the ‘Best Production’ category at the inaugural Theatre Critics of Wales Awards before receiving critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Other work includes The Knowledge (Dirty Protest/Royal Court, ‘Surprise Theatre’ Season), My Father’s Hands (Paines Plough, Come To Where I’m From), Lacuna (Three Streets Productions, New Wimbledon Studio). Matthew is currently developing a number of full-length plays.
