Zack Ranes

Zack Ranes is the author's pen name. Truth to Power draws from his real world experiences not only as a CIA officer but also as a husband, father, and resident in Virginia’s extraordinarily beautiful horse country. The novel weaves into the plot uninhibited discussions of marriage, parenting, religion, and other issues familiar and fascinating to all of us. Ranes hopes for one of the most thought-provoking works of fiction in recent memory. He wants it to spark conversations at dinner tables and in subway cars about everything from the business of the intelligence world to the business of living and dying in an imperfect world. Most of all, however, he wants it to inspire.
