Janeth G. S. is a Mexican author known for her work in the mystery genre. She became prominent on Wattpad, where she began publishing her novels in 2014. Her debut novel, Who Killed Alex? (2015), received widespread acclaim, winning the Wattys Award for Best Mystery Novel. The story became an international bestseller, with over 41 million reads and publications in 10 countries.

Janeth was born in León, Mexico, the eldest of three sisters. She developed a love of reading at 11, influenced by authors such as Stephen King and Sebastien Fitzek. These writers shaped her interest in creating suspenseful and complex narratives. Despite her enthusiasm for digital platforms such as YouTube and social media, Janeth shunned mobile phones and relied on an iPod to jot down story ideas and notes.

At 16, she began writing her first novel, Who Killed Alex? while studying business and human resources. Encouraged by her classmates, teachers and a growing audience, she completed the book by the time she was 18. The story captivated readers on Wattpad, with thousands requesting more chapters.
