Emily Stone

Emily Stone has a PhD in Psychology and is trained in counselling. She was formerly a lecturer in the psychology of religion at King's College London and an adjunct professor at the Union Institute in Cincinnati. She is now based at Heythrop College, a specialist theology and philosophy college of the University of London in Kensington, where she runs the only MA in the psychology of religion in the English-speaking world.

She is also a leading author on Wicca and contemporary Pagan spirituality. She has written numerous books for practitioners, as well as academic research articles for international conferences, journals, and academic publishers. She is a leading figure in the development of contemporary Wicca. Together with her husband, she founded the Wicca Study Group, a teaching organisation that runs workshops and courses which have enabled thousands of people to learn about Wicca.

She has appeared on television in the UK, the USA, and continental Europe and has made numerous radio broadcasts. She has also written for the Independent newspaper.

Emily Stone has been cited as a Wiccan expert in the 'Washington Post'.
