Pratima Kapur spent the first ten years of her life accompanying her parents from cantonment to cantonment before she took a breather for six years in Bombay, where she completed her schooling. This was followed by a stay in Poona where she studied Commercial Art at Abhinav Kala Vidhyalaya, an affiliate of J.J. School of Art, Bombay.Revitalised and rejuvenated, she continued on a journey through India and abroad along with her husband, Rana; an army officer till he retired from service as a Lt. General and they finally settled in Poona thirty five years later.Deeply interested in all forms of arts, theatre and craft, Pratima has published two books and hopefully many more in the future.
