Luciana Longo

Born in Canada to immigrants from the Calabria region of Italy, Luciana Longo has been a passionate home cook since adolescence. She spent the next twenty-five years learning the intricacies of Italian cooking with the loving guidance of her creative mother and late grandmother. While living in Italy in a traditional mountain village, she gained insight into how her parent’s generation extended the practices of their homeland to create North American “Italian villages”. Her fondness for cooking and the sense of community extolled in Italian culture inspired her to write Si Mangia! www.lucianalongo.ca
