JB Brown served his country in the British Army for 26 years and is now making his way in corporate business. Whilst serving, he spent many years overseas. Operationally, he served in Northern Ireland, on Op GRANBY during the Gulf War and Baghdad in 2008-09. He was the Commanding Officer of 7 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps in Germany and during this time he deployed with his Regiment on a UN peacekeeping tour in Cyprus. JB started writing poetry in his teens. He has two previously published poems and he was a featured poet in the Sunday Times Magazine in November 2008 in the essay, 'Bombs. Blood and Bards.' A number of his war poems featured in the 2011 anthology, 'Enduring Freedom,' also published by FireStep Publishing.
