Eleanor Brown

Eleanor Brown is an American novelist, anthologist, editor, and speaker. She is the New York Times and #1 international bestselling author of three novels: Any Other Family (2022), The Light of Paris (2016), and The Weird Sisters (2011).

Her writing has been hailed by People magazine as “delightful” and “creative and original” by Library Journal.

In addition to her fiction writing, Eleanor edited the anthology A Paris All Your Own. Her book reviews, interviews, and essays have been featured in publications, including The Washington Post, The Guardian, and Publishers Weekly.

Eleanor Brown reads about 300 books a year, from novels to nonfiction. “Basically, I don’t go anywhere without a book in my hand,” she says.

Brown teaches writing workshops and conferences nationwide, including for The Writers' Table and Lighthouse Writers workshops in Colorado.

Born and raised in Washington, D.C., she has lived in England, Minnesota, Florida, San Francisco, and Philadelphia.

Eleanor Brown currently lives with her family in Colorado.
