Joanna Ryde is an all-singing, all-dancing comedy sensation from Finglas on Dublin's Northside, described by some as Ryvita, Dublin's answer to Eva Peron. Appearances on TV and radio followed, most notably in 2010 when she was chosen as a finalist on RTE's The All Ireland Talent Show prompting Daithi O'Se to suggest she had the nicest legs he'd ever seen. She someday hopes to represent Ireland or Liechtenstein in the Eurovision Song Contest.Joanna currently lives in Waterford where she has a residency in the legendary Dignity Bar and can be found online at JoannaRyde.com or on the beach in Tramore on nice days. She writes a weekly column in The Munster Express. Her first book is OUT NOW entitled Diary of a Ryde.
