Todd Vogts

Hello. My name is Todd Vogts. I am from Kansas, the heartland of America, and I am proud of that.I wrote my first short story when I was in the fourth grade. It was less than one hand-written page in my trusty, spiral-bound notebook. It was a tale of a quarterback who threw the ball so hard his arm was torn from its socket. Then the arm came to life and began to attack people before the cops showed up and put the arm to sleep.It was a weird story, but it was the start of my writing career, which is a career I love. Nothing brings me more joy than writing, which is why I am so stoked to be a published author. There is nothing cooler than walking into a book store and seeing my name emblazoned on the cover of a book sitting on the shelf. It is truly a dream come true.I am so thankful for all the opportunities I have had, and I attribute my successes to the loving support of my family and friends. Without them, none of this would possible.My debut novel was "Murder at St. Alfanus," but I have been published in other forms for sometime. I blog often, and I am a journalist. In the past, I ran a weekly newspaper located in rural Kansas, and I still do some freelance work. I even got my bachelor's degree in Communication with an emphasis in Print Journalism from Wichita State University.As an indie author, I hope this site helps me connect with more readers. Of course, the contact methods on the right side of this site hopefully help too.I thank you for visiting this site and reading my work. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy creating it, but the most important thing to me is that people of all ages and backgrounds simply pick up a book and read. Reading is so vital.
