Jodi Lipper

Jodi Lipper is an internationally recognized author and lifestyle expert who has been featured on the Tyra Banks Show, Extra! Good Morning America Now and in regular appearances on NBC’s Today Show. Her popular line of uplifting girlfriend-to-girlfriend self help books have been translated into four languages, are sold in over half a dozen countries and have been covered in Time Magazine, Seventeen Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Essence, OK Magazine, USA Weekend, Star Magazine, Women’s Health, In Touch Weekly, the New York Post, the New York Daily News and many others. Jodi has also written for the Huffington Post, Maxim Magazine, Complete Woman Magazine and numerous other publications, but Jodi isn’t just a writer. She spent years editing in-house at Atria Books (a division of Simon & Schuster), where she worked with #1 New York Times bestselling authors Dan Brown, Vince Flynn, Jodi Picoult and Brad Thor. This experience at one of the world’s largest (and most successful) publishing companies combined with the time Jodi spent at a boutique literary agency in New York City have given her unique insight into the entire publishing industry. Prior to her work in publishing, Jodi spent four years at Hallmark Hall of Fame Productions where she oversaw the development and adaptations of a dozen books for CBS Television including John Grisham’s A Painted House, Anne Tyler’s Back When We Were Grownups and Pat Conroy’s The Water is Wide. Jodi graduated with honors from Barnard College of Columbia University where she studied writing with authors such as Thomas Beller, Frank Brady, Mary Gordon and many others. She currently lives in Manhattan.
