Winter doesn't forgive mistakes.

When an early freeze settles over the upper range, ranch hand Thatcher Roane rides the fence line alone, mending wire and driving strays back before the next storm buries the country for good. But snow reveals more than drifting cattle.

Tracks cut across the boundary fence — boot prints where no man should be.

As supplies run thin and the temperature drops below mercy, Roane finds himself facing more than a hard season. Someone is testing the line. And in winter, a broken fence can mean more than lost stock — it can mean lost ground.

With wind howling across the flats and frost tightening its grip, Roane must decide how far he'll ride to protect what isn't his… and what kind of man he intends to be when spring finally comes.

A stark frontier tale of endurance, isolation, and the quiet war fought along a frozen fence line.
