John McAuliffe

John McAuliffe was born in 1973 and grew up in Listowel, County Kerry. He co-directs the Centre for New Writing at the University of Manchester where he edits The Manchester Review. He also writes the regular poetry column in The Irish Times. His previous collections, also published by The Gallery Press, are A Better Life (2002, shortlisted for a Forward Prize), Next Door (2007) and Of All Places (2011, a Poetry Book Society Recommendation). His fourth collection, The Way In, will be published in 2015.
