She specializes in health, relationships, sex issues, and parenting. Westen has authored several books, including the bestselling YA biography of Oprah Winfrey, I Don't Believe In Failure, Enslow 2005, recently noted in the Washington Examiner (2/27/10) as one of Amazon's top children's bestsellers. She was an Emmy-Award winning writer for the ABC Television women's health-oriented show FYI, a sex advice columnist (Sex Rx) for Woman's Own Magazine; she also wrote a weekly pop psychology quiz for Woman's World Magazine for over 18 years.
