FIVE DECADES. A DOZEN STRETCHES BEHIND BARS. ONE SENTENCE WITH NO END DATE.

Bang Bang Ray Hill is a true crime legend in the making; a British gangster memoir from a man who lived every page of it.

Growing up hard on the wrong side of the tracks in 1950s London, Ray became a career criminal by his teens: an armed robber, a bare-knuckle prize-fighter, and an enforcer trusted by some of Britain's most feared criminal firms.

He crossed paths with the underworld's most notorious faces, rubbed shoulders with the era's most infamous names, and served time across five different decades of the UK prison system; watching crime, punishment, and the criminal underworld itself change beyond recognition.

Through it all, Ray lived by a code that even fellow villains respected: there were lines Ray Hill would not let anyone cross. But surviving the streets was only half the fight. Addiction, an indeterminate prison sentence with no fixed release date, and one final, desperate job pushed him to the very edge of his life.

This is a true crime memoir.

A prison memoir.

A story of violence, survival, and the long road out the other side.

Told entirely in Ray's own unfiltered voice.
