Ralph Cissne

Ralph Cissne was born in Long Beach, California where his father served as an Air Force public information officer. He inherited the haircut. Coming of age in his parent’s native Oklahoma Ralph's early interests included creative writing, yoga and Zen meditation.A graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Journalism, Ralph worked in advertising creating many category-leading campaigns. An award-winning poet, Ralph’s article and short story publications include Chrome, American Way and Playboy. His spoken-word CD The Ancient Myth was launched with a reading at the legendary Bodhi Tree bookstore in Los Angeles.Ralph has edited and published the work of Frank Natale, his friend and mentor. A leader in the consciousness movement, Natale emphasized self-discovery, personal responsibility and choice as paths of spiritual growth. Ralph has published countless articles on health and fitness, is a lifelong advocate of yoga and completed his 200-hour hatha yoga instructor training with Leeann Carey in 2002.
