Betty Sodders was born and raised in Ironwood, Michigan, and lives on Sugar Island in the Upper Peninsula with her husband, Bill. A prolific and successful freelance outdoor and travel writer, her work has appeared in Michigan Out-of-Doors, Woods-n-Waters News, Whitetails Unlimited, Woodall's RV Traveler, and many other publications. She is a member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America.
