In Tricentennial, supernatural powers are passed down in a
ceremony every three hundred years, from the alien guardians to a
new generation of leaders. Having established a civilization of hybrid
humans, the recipients of these powers are tasked with creating a new
post apocalypse world and are compelled to venture out into space.
For the first time, these powers are transferred to someone other than
a grey and understood by them to be more spiritual than magical,
giving a glimmer of hope that humanity can survive.
