    If you’re the leader of your team, the most important thing you can do to promote trust within your team is to permit vulnerability in every team gathering. This means working to create an environment that does not ridicule or punish vulnerability, but it also means taking the lead and showing that vulnerability yourself.

    As a team leader, you want to protect the members of your team from harm, while still making sure they can function well together. To make this happen, you need to encourage healthy, constructive conflict whenever you see the potential for it. When conflict does arise, allow your team to resolve it for themselves, stepping in to intervene only if the debate becomes personal or insulting
