Peter Markusson lived his whole life flying under the radar – a difficult thing to do in the distant future. Security cameras and hover-copters watch his every move. It's not that he ever did anything bad, but he wasn't necessarily the most ideal citizen – especially in the ever-present eyes of the of government. Peter's world is turned upside down when he and three others are removed from a seemingly perfect society and transplanted to a place for people who are erased. They call these people dissolves, and have been rendered such for primarily political reasons. As Peter learns more about his world he begins to realize the true nature of something that he once only knew to be suspicion.
