The Technocratic Philosophy is meant to be a reimaging and revitalization of the Athenian model of direct democracy for the next generation. But, in no disrespect to the stability of the Athenian’s style of government, I believe that the true path to our future lies in a time where people are free and equal in their voting power… where, regardless of race, creed, or social class, any issue that one may be affected by him or her may vote upon after being made well aware of all potential outcomes of legislation and the costs involved that must be paid for by the voting constituents. But the key to the Technocratic philosophy is the use of the technology at the population’s disposal to vote and influence the world around us in a socially adaptive manner.
