Ratchet Weeds is the story of Noah Rodriguez, a Biology graduate student who lands the perfect job at CannaTron, the marijuana industry’s leading tech company that develops cannabis tracking software. He’s hired as a proposal writer by the company’s flamboyant, millionaire owner and former pill-mill kingpin, Albert Abraham. CannaTron is a start-up company in Fort Lauderdale with the highest aspirations, with intentions to go public, and promises to make all the employees rich. But Noah soon realizes that the company is riddled with scandal, lawsuits, and ratchet employees who don’t respect their bosses or the nature of professionalism. After receiving a minor setback in his studies, Noah must complete a research paper on medical marijuana to improve his chances at getting accepted into medical school. While at CannaTron, he’s provided with a plethora of information to complete the task despite the daily antics, deviance, and ugliness that revolves around the company.
