Catheryn Westering has no intention of marrying her respectable but boring cousin,, Edmund Caston, and her aunt and uncle have no intention of giving her access to her newly discovered fortune. Daringly, she rushes to London to appeal to her distant, very attractive kinsman, the Earl of Dambroke, for help.
