Kaitlyn Walling was found after nearly drowning in a pond on the Old Thyme Inn as a small child. She had vivid memories of a life long ago. Twenty years later after an accident at the same pond she wakes up, thrown back into her life in 1781 at the Thyme Farm. The Thyme family takes her in and nurse's her back to health. Samuel Thyme comes home from war to find a woman living in his home, claiming to be the best friend he lost all those years ago. Unlike the others, Samuel is hesitant to accept this stranger pretending to be his Katie, until her family comes to take her away again.
