With aspirations of retirement in mind and visions of ministry, Jim and Peggy built their dream home as a bed and breakfast inn in the beautiful piney woods of East Texas. Soon after, those dreams unexpectedly came crashing down when Jim was diagnosed with leukemia. Suddenly, Peggy became both a widow and sole caretaker of their seven-acre, six-bedroom country estate. Facing immense emotion and grief, coupled with both the physical and financial strain of maintaining her home and business alone, she fought to keep their vision of a ministry retreat alive.
