Fulton Street Plaza is fiction. Any resemblance in our story to real persons, living or dead; real businesses, organizations, agencies, departments or bureaus; real cities, towns, or locations; or real events is purely coincidental. Our story takes place in Cincinnati, at San Quentin, and in San Francisco during the 1970’s and features command level police officers intent on preparing their department for yet more urban violence, but perhaps of a different kind. It also features recent parolees, one a Vietnam War veteran, struggling in a unique half-way house reintegration project along with their supervising parole agents; workers at a large market complex near the geographical center of the city; sympathizers and recruiters for a radical terrorist group; federal agents working to uncover members of the terrorist group; and, television reporters working a story for a local television news channel. This story is also about abandonment, crime, drug addiction, duty, honor, and, most importantly, trust.
