Jeremy and Lisa have recently gotten married. Both Jeremy and Lisa grew up in the same Vermont town of St. Albans. Jeremy is involved in Advertising while Lisa has a Real Estate career and they both travel throughout Vermont when needed to reach a new client or a new buyer.
Jeremy and Lisa have been working on their marriage and their careers and they have not made much time for their in laws, so Lisa has decided that the time has come that Jeremy's parents and her parents should come over to their apartment and share in their first dinner together, something they have not done since their wedding day. Lisa feels this would be a nice way to get to know more about Jeremy's parents and a way for Jeremy to learn more about her parents and a way for the two families to connect better but chaos quickly comes to dinner and stays for dessert.
