Thoughts

Told by the perspective of two lovers, mostly by the main character Sergio, ‘Thoughts’ is a slow-paced fictional novel combining the elements of drama, suspense, mystery, romance and horror to provide thrilling experiences for the reader throughout the book. Whilst lost between the perceived reality of the world and the dark void left in his life by the disappearance of his mother, Sergio is forced to swim in the tide waters of his past which he knows he must not. Having grown up in an orphanage, Sergio is taught many things and is given many answers. But still, Sergio does not know what has happened to his beloved family, which he seeks so blindly.

After being woken up from the bed of his childhood, Sergio is thrown into the harsh ways of life’s reality. But the reality which Sergio is taught, is one he wishes to not face. Soon discovering that there is much more to his life than he has ever known, Sergio embarks a journey to discover what lies in obscurity.

Along his journey, Sergio meets four vital characters which help the orphan shape his life. The characters are Hope, Love, Refuge and Courage. Each brings a new meaning to Sergio’s life. However, Sergio chases one character more than the others and comes to the realization that he has lost all. But it isn’t too late for Sergio to turn his life around -if he truly seeks it.

After exhaustion and coming to the realization that he is fighting for something which he doesn’t know exists anymore, Sergio is faced with a decision –to figure or flee the questions regarding his supernatural and mysterious life.
