EXODUS:WHY I BECAME A REPUBLICAN DETAILS THE CONFLICT OF A AFRICAN AMERICAN MALE WHO DECIDES AFTER RUNNING FOR POLITICAL OFFICE, THAT THE DEMOCRATS ARE INCOMPETENT AND HAVE NO IDEA OF HOW TO TRULY GOVERN. HE ALSO REALIZES THAT THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY HAS NOT DONE ANYTHING OF SIGNIFICANCE FOR AFRICAN AMERICANS SINCE THE SIGNING OF THE VOTER RIGHTS BILL OVER FORTY YEARS AGO. HE ALSO DETAILS HOW BLACKS ARE NOT ANY BETTER OFF WITH BARACK IN THE WHITEHOUSE OR HAVING A BLACK ATTORNEY GENERAL. BLACKS ARE STILL LANGUISHING IN AMERICA, EVEN THOUGH WE GIVE ALL OF OUR SUPPORT TO THE DEMOCRATS. THE AUTHOR SUGGESTS AN EXODUS FROM THE DEMOCRATIC PLANTATION AND THAT THE REAL OPPORTUNITY FOR AFRICAN AMERICANS ARE WITH THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.
